GRACE:

a: unmerited divine assistance given humans for their regeneration or sanctification
b a virtue coming from God
c: a state of sanctification enjoyed through divine grace
d: disposition to or an act or instance of kindness, courtesy, or clemency
e: a charming or attractive trait or characteristic
f: a pleasing appearance or effect 

I want…no let me correct that, I NEED more Grace!   Grace from God, a precious gift.  I know that it’s a gift because I can’t pull it off by myself.  I need His Grace for forgiveness of my sins, but I also need His Grace to be the example in this world that He wants me to be.  God has been so faithful to me.  Giving me Grace when I stood at the hospital bed of my husband and the Doctor pronounced him as deceased; I did not fall apart but was able to comfort those around me.  Grace when I returned to a store to apologize to a cashier that I had lost my patience with, Grace when I was in a car accident and everything inside of me wanted to scream, but He kept me calm.  So many times God has extended His Grace to me, too many to number.

So I pray for Grace.  I need it replenished every day, because one thing about Grace, you must also GIVE it out to others each and every day…

Hi Veronica! Oh, I love that scripture and do not want to be known as proud to my Lord. I do so appreciate the grace He gives to me!
Now I love Blue Willow and you found some beautiful pieces! That is a gorgeous teapot! Thank you so much for popping in to see me and we're in New York tonight and will be home tomorrow. I had so much fun with my little grand daughter.

Sunflowers...

It's what the sunflowers do.” -Helen Keller While riding around in my neighborhood I noticed that many yards and gardens were adorn with beautiful sunflowers. They stood tall and cheery above all the other plants and flowers with their bright yellow "faces" seemingly bathing in the summer sun...they make me smile.  So even though I did not plant any sunflowers in my yard or garden I did do a bit of decorating with some faux. Letter to my Mom...

Dear Ma, Well, another Mother’s day has rolled around; this is the 12 th one without you.   But your passing from this life to eternity seems like yesterday sometimes. I miss you so much.   And it seems that the older I get, the more I understand you…does that make sense? I passed by a mirror the other day and wow I could see you in me so much…your mannerisms and movements! If I am becoming even a fraction of the woman of grace that you are I am so thankful.   I know, I know…during my turbulent teenage years I wanted to be anything but my mother. But now Ma, I am so thankful that you hung on to me during those times.
